Over 10,000 people were employed in 2025 through ANOFM

Since the beginning of this year, over ten thousand job seekers were hired through the National Employment Agency (ANOFM). This includes 3,463 unemployed individuals and 244 daily workers and temporary employees hired for fixed periods of up to three months.
“The results obtained by the ANOFM demonstrate that our ongoing efforts to enhance employment services for citizens are paying off. Each individual who finds a job not only stabilizes their family but also contributes to the economic development of our country. We aim to expand these opportunities further and assist more citizens in building a secure future here in the Republic of Moldova,” said Alexei Buzu, Minister of Labor and Social Protection.
According to the ANOFM, individuals have engaged in various economic sectors, including collective, social, and personal services, agriculture, industry, wholesale and retail trade, construction, public administration, healthcare and social assistance, education, transportation, storage, communications, and others.
The ANOFM encourages job seekers to contact their local employment offices to receive support. These services are free and available to both unemployed individuals and those currently employed who wish to change jobs.
For more information, you can call the ANOFM Call Center at 0 8000 1000 or visit the portal at www.angajat.md. Unemployed individuals registered with the local employment offices (STOFM) can access support services and active measures that improve their chances of finding employment.
Last year, the ANOFM assisted approximately 16,700 people in finding jobs, which accounts for about 25% of all unemployed individuals in the Republic of Moldova who were placed in the labor market through the local employment offices.
