Two Moldovan citizens picked up from Turkey by Romanian Air Force plane
On Tuesday evening, another 13 Romanian citizens were repatriated from Turkey by an Air Force aircraft. Among them there were two citizens of the Republic of Moldova, reports protv.ro.

A group of Romanian students are still in the earthquake zone and are to be brought back to the country. However, they cannot reach the airport because of the destroyed infrastructure.
Nine students were also on the plane, having left the country under the ERASMUS programme, together with the teacher accompanying them. At the time of the earthquake, they were staying at a hotel in Kahramanmaraș, the area worst affected by the quake. They arrived safely at Adana airport, where they were picked up by a rescue team and transported to Romania.
"Everyone is in good condition, however they are tired. This flight was very complicated. We are talking about people who were unfortunately exposed directly to the earthquake and directly to the previous group. A first group is leaving at Gare de Nord, a second group is leaving at Otopeni. There are also two Moldovan citizens, who will leave by their own means tonight towards Chisinau", said doctor Gabriel Diaconu.
After Monday evening's flight, which repatriated 8 Romanians and 2 Polish citizens, this was the second humanitarian flight of the Romanian Forces. So far, 21 Romanian citizens have been sent home.

Earlier, the Foreign Ministry in Chisinau said there were no Moldovan citizens injured or hospitalised in the earthquake.
"MFAEI reaffirms that the consular emergency hotline at our country's embassy in Ankara is set up on a permanent basis," said MFAEI spokesman Daniel Voda.
