Maia Sandu: We are interested in cooperation with Japan in the field of energy security
The Republic of Moldova is interested in developing joint initiatives with Japan to help accelerate the energy security of our country. The head of state Maia Sandu mentioned this in a discussion with the Prime Minister of Japan, Fumio Kishida.

The president reiterated Japan's good relations and support in several sectors such as health, agriculture and economy.
TRM.MD recalls that this year, the Republic of Moldova received assistance for the procurement of firefighting equipment - 19 special vehicles worth 12 million euros.
Also, from Japan's money, high-performance equipment will be purchased, in the amount of about 8 million euros, which will reach five large hospitals in the country. Recently, the Republic of Moldova received a batch of medical equipment, worth about 1.3 million euros, for the laboratories managed by the National Public Health Agency.
