Ana Revenco and her Romanian counterpart will sign the Agreement on coordinated control at the Leușeni-Albita crossing point in Albița
The Minister of Internal Affairs, Ana Revenco, and her counterpart from Bucharest, Lucian Bode, will sign today, at 11:00, the Agreement between the Republic of Moldova and Romania under which coordinated control will be established at the Leușeni-Albita state border crossing point only upon entering the territory of Romania. The document will be signed right at the border between Leușeni and Albita. This was announced by the spokesperson of the Romanian Executive, Dan Cărbunaru.

"The Minister of Internal Affairs, Lucian Bode, together with his counterpart from the Republic of Moldova will be present in Albița to witness the moment when the coordinated checks will begin at the border between Romania and the Republic of Moldova", said Cărbunaru. The new functionality regime in which coordinated control will be established at the Leușeni-Albita state border crossing point will be applied at the beginning of spring. Dan Cărbunaru also announced that the Government of Romania approved the Decision that will contribute to the opening of the international border crossing point with the Republic of Moldova, Bumbăta - Leova, as well as the establishment of the Bumbăta Border Customs Point.
