Igor Grosu: The PAS fraction will ensure the formation of a new Government. The opposition reacts to the resignation of the Government
The parliamentary faction of PAS took note of Natalia Gavrilița's resignation. The team of the Action and Solidarity Party thanks the Prime Minister for her dedication and effort, Igor Grosu mentioned in a message after the resignation announced by Natalia Gavrilița.
Grosu also stated that the PAS faction supports and will ensure the formation of a new Government that will focus on security and economic development challenges. For its part, the Shor Party qualified the resignation of the prime minister as the result of "the pressure exerted by the protest movement in the last six months.
"Today, it's a small victory, but it's not the expected result. Result will come soon. We will fight for the people, we will fight for them to live well and we will get it. We are a force. As long as we are united, we are invincible", reads the message of the Şor Party.
At the same time, the Socialist Party qualified the resignation of the Gavrilița government as "shameful" and "delayed". Vlad Batrâncea mentioned that the change of the government or the cosmetic renovations will not solve the citizens' problems and pleaded for early parliamentary elections. "Any cosmetic changes will not solve the problems. Any government supported by PAS will have the same fate as the Gavrilița government," Batrâncea said.
The deputy announced that the Bloc of Communists and Socialists will not participate in the consultations launched by Maia Sandu regarding the appointment of a new prime minister, on the grounds that they consider them fake.
