Russia refuses to comment on the incident with the missile that flew over the Republic of Moldova
The Kremlin does not comment on the information regarding the flying of a Russian missile through the airspace of the Republic of Moldova on Friday. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Chisinau summoned the Russian ambassador following the incident on Friday morning.

"No, I could not comment on this. This is directly related to the special military operation itself, these are matters that belong to the Ministry of Defense", said the spokesman of the Russian presidency, Dmitry Peskov quoted by TASS, according to Agerpres.
Ukrainian Army Commander-in-Chief Valeri Zalujnîi was the one who initially announced that two Russian cruise missiles entered the airspace of Romania and the Republic of Moldova on Friday before entering Ukraine, during the massive Russian attack earlier in the morning.
The head of diplomacy of the Republic of Moldova, Nicu Popescu, ordered the urgent summoning of the ambassador of the Russian Federation in Chisinau, Oleg Vasnetsov, to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in order to "indicate to the Russian side the unacceptable violation of our airspace by flying a Russian missile over the sovereign territory of the Republic of Moldova today".
The Ministry of National Defense in Romania communicated that an aerial target, most likely a cruise missile launched from the Black Sea from a ship of the Russian Federation, near the Crimean Peninsula, crossed the airspace of the Republic of Moldova, being detected by the airspace system of the Romanian Air Force, but did not enter Romania's airspace.
