MEP: The government change does not affect the European course of the Republic of Moldova in any way

MEP Siegfried Mureșan, as president of the European Parliament Delegation for relations with the Republic of Moldova, found in the last year that in Chisinau there is a clear, stable parliamentary majority that wants European integration and wants to implement reforms. The former Government was based on this majority, the new Executive will be based on the same majority, said Muresan.

"The objectives remain the same, and the support from the European Union will remain unchanged: we will continue to help the citizens of the Republic of Moldova and the authorities in Chisinau to overcome the challenges they face and advance in the implementation of reforms, modernization of the state and European integration", wrote Siegfried Muresan on his Facebook page. We remind you that, on Friday, Natalia Gavrililța resigned from the position of prime minister, a fact that caused the resignation of the entire Government. On the same day, President Maia Sandu appointed his security adviser Dorin Recean as a candidate for the position of Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova. "We trust that the government led by Mr. Recean will implement the development vision of the Republic of Moldova, proposed by the President and the PAS in order to fulfill our country's project - European integration," said the Parliament Speaker, Igor Grosu.
