Arina Sabalenka has successfully defended her US Open title after defeating American Amanda Anisimova in straight sets.
The world number one, who competes under a neutral flag, won 6-3, 7-6 in the final.
Sabalenka dictated the pace of the match, although she was tested late in the second set when Anisimova led 6-5. The world number one then dominated the tiebreak, ensuring her opponent had no further chances.
The victory is Sabalenka's fourth Grand Slam and 21st career trophy. She earns a record $5m for the win, while Anisimova takes home $2.5m.
