"Putin can win and we don't know which way he will stop". Poland's president urges West to supply Ukraine with weapons urgently

Russia can win the war if the West does not urgently deliver all the necessary weapons to Ukraine. Andrzej Duda, the Polish president, made the statement in an interview with French journalists. The Warsaw leader also cautioned the West against delusions that Russia will stop after gaining Ukrainian territory or losing tens of thousands of troops, reports Unian.

"They don't have a modern military infrastructure, but they have people! If we don't send military equipment to Ukraine in the next few weeks, Putin can win. He can win and we don't know where he will stop," Duda warned.

Russia has suffered record losses since the start of the war in recent weeks, according to British intelligence. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, says the army's total combat losses have amounted to nearly 138,000, including 900 in the last day.

According to political scientist Andrei Piontkovsky, Russia will not achieve significant success in the course of the major offensive that has begun, but will suffer heavy losses. If they themselves do not bring about a change of power in Moscow, then in the spring and summer the Armed Forces of Ukraine will launch their big offensive.
