Jobs Fair: 25 companies offer over 1,500 job opportunities

More than 25 companies and over 1,500 job opportunities were available for visitors at the fall edition of the Jobs Fair, which took place for two days at the "Nicolae Sulac" National Palace in Chisinau. The event featured employers from various sectors, along with universities showcasing educational programs and training opportunities for young people just starting their careers.

Among the visitors to the fair were also young people from Balti:

"We came because at college they told us that at the Jobs Fair we can find an advanced job and of course ask questions to people in person".

"Interesting, there are many opportunities for practice, work".

Some young people did not hesitate to apply for specific positions right on the spot:

"I applied as a flight attendant, I have been thinking about this opportunity for a very long time, but my only reservation was the university, I hope to pass the interview".

"I really found something interesting, to study somewhere abroad, first of all, to get a bachelor's or master's degree. Secondly - some exciting, captivating jobs, many opportunities, something new".

Representatives of the Border Police, present at the fair, told us that are looking for new employees, especially for senior officer positions within the control unit.

"Many questions, many young people, by the way, who have returned from the European Union and want to find a job here again. Both young people and those already aged 50-60 want to join the Border Police. At least I tried to encourage them, some of them unmotivated what to do, how to do it, after which I told them more about our duties", mentioned Ada Badu, an employee of the Border Police.

University representatives explained to young people how to prepare for university life.

"We are here to explain all the steps for preparing for university, it is not that difficult. We are waiting for students to come to university, because learning is lifelong and why not enjoy these opportunities", said Alina Ciorchin, representative of the "Ion Creangă" State Pedagogical University.

"Our event facilitates getting a job because here the employer manages to see you beyond your CV. Company representatives call us and thank us for the fact that through our event they managed to recruit suitable people", said Maria Petruța, the organizer of the fair.

The Jobs Fair has been organized for 13 years in Chișinău.
