NATO will increase assistance to the Republic of Moldova in order to increase its defense capacity
NATO will increase the necessary assistance to increase the defense capacity of the Republic of Moldova. A decision in this sense was taken by the ministers of defense from the countries of the Alliance during the meeting in the Rammstein format in Brussels, announced the Secretary General of the Alliance, Jens Stoltenberg.

The aid that will benefit the Republic of Moldova, Georgia, Bosnia and Herzegovina comes in the context of the war in Ukraine, the regions being considered vulnerable - said the Secretary General of the Alliance, Jens Stoltenberg.
"I think one of the lessons we've already learned from the war in Ukraine is the importance of providing support to partners early, not too late, because it was important to support Ukraine before the invasion. Now it is important to support other partners, who are vulnerable to Russian interventions. Allies have therefore agreed to step up their partnership with neighboring countries, and we are now working to step up cyber, crisis management and communications support."
We remind you that NATO Deputy Secretary General Mircea Geoană also spoke last week about personalized support for the Republic of Moldova, referring to the bombings in Ukraine and the missiles flying into the airspace of the Republic of Moldova.
