Maia Sandu had a phone conversation with the president of Serbia
The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, spoke today by phone with the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić. The discussion was held in the context of the head of state's statement from the beginning of the week, regarding the risks of destabilizing the situation in our country and the possible involvement of citizens of other states.
The two leaders reconfirmed their respect for the territorial integrity of the countries and expressed their willingness to cooperate to prevent illegal activities involving the citizens of the two countries, reads a press release from the Presidency. The head of state also congratulated her Serbian counterpart on the occasion of Statehood Day, celebrated today in Serbia.
