Maia Sandu: Recean Government will focus on the safety of citizens and the security of the state
There is no political instability in the Republic of Moldova, and the new Government of the Republic of Moldova will be inaugurated tomorrow, said President Maia Sandu, during a program on TVR Moldova. The head of state said that the new cabinet of ministers will continue the reforms, especially those required by the European institutions, so that the Republic of Moldova advances on the path of European integration.
"This Government will focus especially on the safety of citizens and on the security of the state and this Government will focus on economic development, on economic growth. We are affected to a great extent by Russia's war against Ukraine, we are in a difficult situation. We need to make stronger efforts, but there is no political crisis in Chisinau, there is continuity and there should be no worries in this regard", declared Maia Sandu. We remind that on Thursday, February 16, the Parliament will meet in a plenary session at which the appointed Prime Minister, Dorin Recean, will present the program and composition of the future Government. We remind you that the Gavrilița Government resigned on February 10. On the same day, President Maia Sandu appointed her adviser on defense and security, Dorin Recean, to form the new cabinet of ministers.
