The Russian Federation does not like the government from Chisinau, President Maia Sandu said during a program on TVR Moldova, stating that the Kremlin authorities want a pro-Russian government in our country.
The head of state said that since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, several threats have been launched against the Republic of Moldova by various representatives of the power in Moscow. "We discussed with the state institutions to be vigilant, to prevent such scenarios, we will continue to do so. I want the citizens of the Republic of Moldova to know that they are safe and that we will continue to do everything to preserve tranquility and peace in our country. I saw the statements of President Iohannis and, yes, we were called by other partners who care about democracy in the Republic of Moldova and who want us to resist. We will be vigilant, we will inform our partners about the situation in which things are deteriorating", said Maia Sandu. Maia Sandu said that currently there is no danger of a military invasion in the Republic of Moldova, and this is due to the fact that Ukraine is fighting for its freedom, in this way it is also fighting for the freedom of the Republic of Moldova.
