The Republic of Moldova participates in the Munich Security Conference

The Republic of Moldova is participating in the Munich Security Conference, which starts today and will last until February 19. The delegation is led by the President Maia Sandu and the Minister of Internal Affairs, Ana Revenco.

More than 45 heads of state and government, more than 80 ministers, the leaders of the most important international organizations - the UN, NATO and the EU - and the largest delegation from the US, including more than a third of the US Senate, are participating in the Conference. Almost a year after Russia's military invasion of Ukraine, the Munich Security Conference will provide an opportunity to take stock of alliance cohesion and political commitment to the rules-based international order. It will also provide a platform to discuss the many pressing security challenges we face today. We remind you that Russia and Iran were excluded from the Security Conference in Munich, according to the organizers.
