Maia Sandu discussed with the Prime Minister of Croatia about regional security developments and the consequences of the war in Ukraine on our country
Regional security developments and how the war in Ukraine affects our country were the main topics discussed between President Maia Sandu and Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković. The two officials also addressed the topic of Moldova's integration into the European Union. The head of state stated that the recent experience of Croatia can be a useful example for us in preparing for the accession procedures, and our country needs the support of all states in this process.

On the sidelines of the Munich Conference, the head of state had a meeting with the Director General of the International Monetary Fund, Kristalina Georgieva, with whom she spoke about the importance of the help from the financial institution to mitigate the economic and social consequences caused by the war. We remind you that between February 17-19, the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, is participating in the Security Conference in Munich, together with 45 heads of state and government from all over the world, as well as over 70 ministers.
