Joe Biden visits Warsaw

The American president, Joe Biden, is expected today in Warsaw, where he will be received by his Polish counterpart, Andrej Duda. The leader of the White House has scheduled a speech for Tuesday in which he will mark a year of war in Ukraine, reports Euronews.ro.

Biden will talk about his support for the Ukrainian people, who are defending their freedom and democracy, but also about how the United States will support Ukraine as long as it is needed. The US president's speech will take place on the same day that Russian leader Vladimir Putin will address the Parliament in Moscow. According to the White House, Joe Biden will also meet with the leaders of the countries in the Bucharest 9 format, including the President of Romania, Klaus Iohannis. The leader from the White House will reaffirm the strong support of the United States for the security of NATO.
