According to the Japanese official, during the G7 Summit, the leaders of the member states, plus those of the European Union, are expected to reaffirm their unity against Russian aggression against Ukraine. Announcing an additional $5.5 billion in financial aid from Japan to Ukraine, Fumio Kishida said there is still a need to help people whose livelihoods have been destroyed by the war and rebuild destroyed infrastructure. The G7 summit will take place on Friday in Japan. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz will attend a virtual G7 Summit on Friday. This was announced by a government spokesman in Berlin, notes Agerpres. According to Steffen Hebestreit, the German Chancellor will have a meeting with US President Joe Biden in the United States on March 3.
