A foreign citizen is under investigation by law enforcement after failing to declare weapons at customs. He traveled from Chisinau to Tel Aviv with three pneumatic weapons found in his luggage by customs officers at the "Eugen Doga" International Airport in Chisinau. As a result, he may face a significant fine.

Airport customs officials, along with Border Police employees, documented the case.

During an X-ray inspection of passenger luggage on the Chisinau to Tel Aviv flight, three weapons were discovered in the suitcase of a 36-year-old Israeli citizen.

The goods have been seized and are subject to special confiscation.

An Israeli citizen risks a fine of up to 60,000 lei for violating customs regulations by removing items from the Republic of Moldova's territory while concealing them from customs control. This includes hiding them in specially designated locations or failing to declare them at the border.
