In Warsaw, where the international community marked one year since the start of Russia's war against Ukraine, the president of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, had a meeting with his Polish counterpart, Andrzej Duda.

"I talked with President Duda about the security developments in the region, the challenges we face and the consequences of the war on our country. The people of the Republic of Poland and the Republic of Moldova, who live with this war at the border, want peace and freedom and support the Ukrainian people," said Maia Sandu. At the same time, the head of state mentioned that Poland is a reliable partner for our country. We remind you that the president had a meeting with the American president, Joe Biden. The two heads of state discussed the consequences of the war on the Republic of Moldova and the efforts of the Moldovan authorities to maintain peace and public order in the country. The leader from Chisinau also emphasized that our country needs the support of the US to strengthen its economic resilience.
