"Mărțișor" International Music Festival, the 57th edition
The 57th edition of the "Mărțișor" International Music Festival will take place, traditionally, at the "Nicolae Sulac" National Palace in Chisinau, from March 1 to 10.
According to the director of the National Palace "Nicolae Sulac", Andrei Locoman, artists such as Zdob and Zdub, Irina Rimes, Delia, Lupii lui Calancea, the National Ballet "Joc", the National Philharmonic and others will perform on stage. "From the National Palace, every year on March 21, the opening performance of the "Mărțișor" International Music Festival will take place at 18:00, with the involvement of the "National" Orchestra of the National Philharmonic, the Orchestra of the Academy of Arts. March 10, the closing concert of the International Music Festival "Mărțișor", we will combine two orchestras of the concert organization “Moldova Concert", said Andrei Locoman. The total budget for the organization of the event is 2.5 million lei, money mostly intended for local artists, for their motivation to dedicate their lives to art. At the same time, during the period from March 1-10, during cultural events, cultural vouchers for youth will be valid.
