A fire broke out shortly ago in an apartment building on Alecu Russo Street in the Rîșcani district of Chisinau. Fire crews responded at the scene.
Witnesses posted images on social media showing flames engulfing an apartment on the building’s ground floor.
Contacted by Teleradio Moldova, Liliana Pușcașu, spokesperson for the General Inspectorate for Emergencies, confirmed that a fire broke out in an apartment.
She stated that authorities reported no casualties and that five fire crews are currently working on the scene.
