Strategic integration and artisanal excellence: The 23rd "Made in Moldova" forum

Over 400 domestic and international enterprises have gathered in Chisinau for the "Made in Moldova" National Exhibition. The event highlights local traditions and craftsmanship while focusing on integrating Moldovan goods into global commercial networks.

Visitors can engage directly with producers of artisanal honey, boutique wines, traditional meats, and handmade ceramics. This direct dialogue aims to bridge the gap between local production and high-end consumer expectations.

Empowering local entrepreneurs

Artisanal producers like Victoria Gulpe, who specializes in additive-free granola, emphasize the importance of healthy consumption. Gulpe views the exhibition as a platform for national solidarity and economic growth.

Traditional crafts also remain a focal point. Adrian Onuța, a third-generation potter, presents handmade ceramics, seeking to preserve cultural heritage through modern trade opportunities.

Strategic market access

Minister of Agriculture Ludmila Catlabuga highlighted the government's commitment to consolidating international market shares. New legislation regarding short supply chains is currently in development to facilitate easier market access for small producers.

Sergiu Harea, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, noted the expanded regional footprint of this edition. For the first time, the event features dedicated pavilions from seven Romanian counties and representatives from Ukraine.

A hub for quality and export

The exhibition has become a sourcing ground for international gifts. Many visitors reported purchasing high-quality preserves and sweets specifically for relatives living in the European Union, signaling the export readiness of these goods.

The 23rd edition of "Made in Moldova" remains open to the public until February 15. The event continues to serve as the country’s largest platform for trade promotion and economic synergy.
