Ambassador Cristian-Leon Țurcanu: Romania will support the Republic of Moldova in reforming the judiciary
Romania will support the Republic of Moldova in the justice reform, mentioned the Ambassador of Romania in Chisinau, Cristian-Leon Țurcanu, on his Facebook page, after the meeting with the Minister of Justice, Veronica Mihailov-Moraru.
According to the diplomat, the "pre-vetting" and "vetting" activities are aimed at eliminating corruption from the system and restoring trust in honest judges and prosecutors. Cristian-Leon Țurcanu highlighted the fact that a proactive and participative approach of the magistrates to the dialogue with the authorities and to the reform process will lead to the achievement of the progress necessary for the pro-European course of the Republic of Moldova.
