Winter Olympics in Milan/Closing ceremony live on Moldova 2

The Winter Olympics have concluded after three weeks of competition. Tonight, the closing ceremony will be held at the Arena di Verona, a Roman amphitheater located in the center of the northern Italian city.

The event titled “Beauty in Action” promises an evening filled with art, dance, and music, celebrating fraternity and sporting excellence. Highlights of the ceremony will include a performance by Roberto Bolle, a ballerina known for his elegance, an energetic show by DJ Gabry Ponte, a performance by artist Achille Lauro, and contributions from the orchestra and choir of the Arena di Verona Foundation, all inspired by Italian opera.

Viewers can watch the spectacular closing ceremony of the XXV Olympic Winter Games live on Moldova 2. The event will be narrated by Patricia Ciubotaru and Alexandru Rusu, who will convey the excitement of the final Olympic event in Milan/Cortina 2026. Representing the Republic of Moldova as the flag bearer will be skier Iulian Luchin.

The closing ceremony is set to begin at 9:30 PM. Prior to that, at 8:30 PM, Moldova 1 will air a special edition hosted by Radu Galbur, where he will present the overall results of the Olympic Games alongside former biathlete Alexandra Camenșcic and sports commentator Mihai Burciu.
