New digital platform “e-Monitoring” lets institutions report and track public policies

Public institutions will plan, report, and track the implementation of government policies in real time through a new single digital platform, e-Monitoring, approved by the Executive.
The information system was developed by the State Chancellery with support from the European Union's technical assistance.
"We are advancing and accelerating the country's reforms, programs, and development projects. Our goal is to achieve greater efficiency, better coordination, and maximum transparency for our citizens and entrepreneurs," declared Alexei Buzu, Secretary General of the Government, during a meeting on February 25.
The State Chancellery, along with ministries and other central administrative authorities, will utilize the e-Monitoring platform at all stages of promoting the Government's public policies.
According to Buzu, the mechanisms to be implemented will ensure improved coordination while reducing bureaucracy. They will also facilitate decisions based on up-to-date data.
“Importantly, this platform will provide citizens and entrepreneurs with clear information regarding the Government's activities, the changes being made, and the resources available to accelerate our country's transformation and development,” added the Secretary General.
The project's explanatory note states that the system aims to improve the management of the reforms and commitments undertaken by the Republic of Moldova as a candidate country for EU membership. It is designed to enhance transparency in reform processes by providing a clear and accessible record of progress.
Additionally, the digital platform promotes collaboration among state institutions by strengthening communication channels through modern technologies and expediting data flow. This will facilitate faster information exchange and more efficient data processing.
