Two girls abused for years; perpetrator lured them with sweets, clothes, and phones
A 67-year-old man raped two young girls over a four-year period. The sexual acts began when the girls were just eight years old and continued until they were 12. The perpetrator was sentenced to 20 years in prison, to be served in a closed prison.
The little girls' nightmare began in the summer of 2021 and lasted until May 2025.
He lured the minors to his home and, taking advantage of the fact that both were part of socially vulnerable families, offered them sweets, money, bought them clothes and mobile phones. In return, he systematically raped them for approximately four years.
The facts were confirmed including by forensic medical and psychiatric-psychological expert reports.
In addition to the 20-year prison sentence, the court ordered the defendant to pay 600 thousand lei in moral damages for the crime.
