Saudi Arabia is ready to offer the Republic of Moldova support and cooperation in the field of environment
The reduction of carbon emissions in the atmosphere and the development of the green economy were the topics discussed, in Chisinau, by the Minister of the Environment, Rodica Iordanov, with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Moldova, based in Bucharest, Mohammed Abdulghani Khayat, according to a press release from the Ministry of in Chisinau.
During the meeting, the Minister of the Environment mentioned that for about two decades, Saudi Arabia had a substantial contribution to the implementation of various projects related to environmental protection and regional development and in order to encourage future investments in these fields, bilateral relations between the two countries should be consolidated. For his part, Mohammed Abdulghani Khayat assured that Saudi Arabia is ready to offer the Republic of Moldova support and cooperation in the field. It should be noted that diplomatic relations between the Republic of Moldova and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia were established in 1996.
