Deputy PM Valeriu Chiveri discussed the Transnistrian conflict with Romanian officials in Bucharest

Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, Valeriu Chiveri, met with Romanian officials in Bucharest to discuss recent developments in the Transnistrian conflict resolution process. They also covered the regional security situation and the coordination of efforts to support the Republic of Moldova's stability and resilience.

During his working visit to Bucharest, Deputy Prime Minister Valeriu Chiveri held discussions with Ana Tinca, the Secretary of State for Strategic and Global Affairs in the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Marius Lazurca, the Presidential Advisor for National Security and Foreign Policy.

The Deputy Prime Minister expressed his gratitude for Romania's ongoing support to the Republic of Moldova, particularly in the areas of European integration, strengthening state institutions, and implementing development projects that directly benefit citizens.

At the conclusion of the meetings, both parties reaffirmed the importance of continuing dialogue and cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and Romania. They emphasized the need to promote regional stability and advance peaceful resolutions to the Transnistrian conflict, while upholding the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova.
