US official: USA backs reforms initiated by Moldovan authorities
US support to the reform agenda, launched by the Executive in the process of European integration, as well as ways to strengthen the Moldovan-American ties, have been discussed during the telephone conversation of Prime Minister Dorin Recean with Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Karen Donfried.
The American official congratulated Prime Minister Dorin Recean on his investiture and reiterated the US Government's support for the renewed commitment to reforms of the new Cabinet of Ministers, as well as in the process of strengthening our country's economic and energy sector.
The officials also discussed issues of deepening the strategic dialogue with the United States, reported the government.
