Leova–Bumbăta border crossing temporarily suspended
The activity at the Leova–Bumbata border crossing point is temporarily suspended on Sunday, March 29, between 10:30 AM and 2:30 PM due to an increase in the water level of the Prut River.
According to the Border Police, efforts will be made to expand the bridge in collaboration with the Romanian border police and other authorities to ensure safe crossing conditions.
To avoid potential delays, travellers are advised to consider using alternative border crossings with Romania. These include the following options: Cahul - Oancea, Leușeni - Albița, and Giurgiulești - Galați.
