The military cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and the United States (USA), with an emphasis on the efforts to counteract the new and emerging cyber threats was discussed by the Minister of Defense, Anatolie Nosatîi, with the U. S. Army, Commander, Cyber National Mission Forces. Major General William J. Hartman, on a visit to Chisinau.
During the meeting, Anatolie Nosatîi, mentioned that the development of cyber defense capacities is a priority for the national army, in the context of protecting the infrastructure of information technologies, prevention, detection and reaction to cyber attacks. The meeting was also attended by the US Ambassador in the Republic of Moldova, His Excellency Kent D. Logsdon.
