The European path of the Republic of Moldova is safe, but Russia is trying to destabilize the situation in our country. The statement was made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nicu Popescu, on Moldova 1 TV, one year after the Republic of Moldova signed the request for accession of the Republic of Moldova to the European Union.
"We have passed and we are still affected by the tragedy caused by Russia's brutal aggression against Ukraine. We managed to advance on several files of crucial importance on our country to anchor the Republic of Moldova in the European family, countries from which we have had support so far, but also in the future to help us maintain peace on our territory and to develop ourselves. It helps us to maintain our economy, it helps us to keep the markets open and more accessible for the producers of apples, grapes, agricultural products so that we can provide work, the revenues of citizens ”, said Nicu Popescu.
We remind that on March 3, 2022, the authorities in Chisinau signed the request for accession of the Republic of Moldova to the European Union.
