Oleg Serebian: The Republic of Moldova and Ukraine have no understanding that would aim to trigger a military operation in the Transnistrian region
Between the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine there is no understanding that would aim to trigger a military operation in the Transnistrian region, said the deputy prime minister, Oleg Serebian, during a show from Vocea Bessarabia.
Also, Kiev has repeatedly mentioned that it respects the sovereignty, the territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova.
"It is the fully entitled sovereign right of Ukraine to place its troops where it considers it is necessary or where there is or there are data that there would be a certain danger on them, but that does not mean that Ukraine would prepare a military action or that there is an agreement between Chisinau and Kiev to trigger a military operation in the Transnistrian region, it is an absurdity”, said Oleg Serebian.
We remind that lately Russia has warned several times that Ukraine would prepare destabilization in the Transnsitrian region of the Republic of Moldova, which is denied by Kiev officials. Recently, the spokesman for the Ukraine State Border Service, Andrei Demcenko, quoted by the RBC agency, said the authorities tighten the border control with the Transnistrian region, and the Kiev leader, Volodimir Zelenski stressed that Ukraine values the territorial integrity of our country, and the rumors launched by the Russian authorities that the Ukrainians would like to attack the Transnistrian region, are nothing but misinformation.
