14.6M lei for exports: 16 business groups funded via “BRIDGE Export” 2026

Several business associations in the Republic of Moldova will receive non-repayable financing totaling over 14.6 million lei to promote exports. This announcement was made by the Investment Agency of Moldova after completing the selection process for the "BRIDGE Export 2026" program, which is designed to support the internationalization of Moldovan companies.

The institution has announced that 16 business associations have been designated as winners of a recent competition. These associations will implement a total of 124 promotional activities aimed at foreign markets.

The funding provided is non-refundable and is intended to expand the presence of Moldovan products and services internationally.

Through the selected projects, companies from the Republic of Moldova will gain access to a variety of opportunities, including participation in international fairs and exhibitions, economic missions, B2B meetings, promotional campaigns in foreign markets, market studies, and the development of sector-specific strategies.

Representatives of the Agency emphasize that this program directly contributes to enhancing the competitiveness of the local business environment and strengthening its presence in international markets. Additionally, the initiative reinforces the role of business associations as active partners in promoting exports.

Data from the institution indicate that over the past three years, more than 8 million lei have been allocated through the grant program for 46 activities, supporting 20 initiatives by business associations. These efforts have resulted in exports exceeding one billion lei.

The "BRIDGE Export" program, initiated by the Investment Agency of Moldova, aims to further develop effective support tools for Moldovan companies, facilitating their access to new markets and the establishment of sustainable international partnerships.

It is important to note that the "BRIDGE Export" program was officially launched at the end of February this year by the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, in collaboration with the Investment Agency. Grants awarded through this program will range from 100,000 to 2 million lei, covering up to 60% of project costs.

The deadline for submissions under the first call for offers was March 15.
