Strong wind warning across Republic of Moldova on April 23
The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) has issued a Yellow Code warning for increased winds. The warning will be valid nationwide on Thursday, April 23, from 09:00 to 21:00.
During this period, the intensification of northwesterly winds is expected, with gusts reaching up to 17 to 22 meters per second across large areas.
Citizens are advised to exercise caution to protect their health and belongings. To prevent potential incidents, it is recommended to avoid staying close to old trees and not to park cars near them.
Additionally, citizens should refrain from non-essential travel during this period, and parents are encouraged to supervise their minor children.
