Kuban university video call hacked by Ukrainian forces
Students at the Kuban State Agrarian University faced an unexpected intervention during a mandatory military recruitment briefing. A video conference intended to persuade students to sign contracts with the Russian Ministry of Defense was breached by an individual identifying as a Ukrainian soldier.
Footage of the disruption circulated widely on Telegram through channels linked to Ukrainian prankster Yevhen Volnov. While Volnov shared the recording, he has not officially claimed responsibility for the cyber intrusion.

The independent outlet Meduza verified the setting by matching the video background with known facilities at the Kuban university. Although the exact date of the incident remains unconfirmed, the footage clearly displays the university's branding during the sensitive briefing.
The intruder issued a direct warning to the students and faculty present. He stated that his forces had already identified the participants, including the university rector and the military officers conducting the presentation.

"I am a soldier, but not a Russian one—I am Ukrainian," the unidentified individual declared during the call. He cautioned the students against joining the invasion, using stark language to describe the consequences of entering Ukrainian territory.
The speaker emphasized the scale of the conflict, describing a "cemetery spanning two countries." He concluded with a definitive threat to anyone signing a contract to serve on Ukrainian soil, signaling a sophisticated psychological operation against domestic Russian recruitment efforts.
