Over 90 shells found in Dănceni during farm work

More than 90 suspicious objects resembling shells were found in the countryside of Dănceni, Ialoveni district. The ammunition was discovered by a man while working in agriculture.
According to the General Inspectorate of Police, law enforcement officers secured the area at the scene and initially identified three shells believed to be from the World War II era.
Engineers from the "Codru" Engineer Battalion of the National Army later joined the intervention to conduct additional checks.
In total, 91 shells were found and removed, and they will be neutralised under maximum safety conditions.
The police continue their investigations to determine all the circumstances surrounding this situation.
