In one week, the Customs Service collected over 726 million lei for the state budget
The Customs Service collected more than 726.9 million lei from the state budget between 27 February and 5 March. Since the beginning of this year, the amount of collections has reached about 5.8 billion lei, up 18.2% compared to the same period in 2022.
More than 20.2 million lei in payments were collected from individuals who brought in goods worth more than the untaxed limit.
Moreover, 11 516 customs declarations were completed and 65 872 crossings were made during the period.
In addition, customs officials found 68 violations of customs legislation and imposed fines of over 277,000 lei.
