Ministry of Energy: fuel stocks cover nearly three weeks of consumption

The Republic of Moldova has adequate fuel stocks. From April 24 to 26, over 1,600 tons of gasoline and more than 5,000 tons of diesel were imported, according to the Ministry of Energy.

Currently, the Republic of Moldova has gasoline and liquefied petroleum gas reserves that will last for 19 days. Regarding diesel fuel, the authorities report that available stocks are sufficient to meet consumption for 12 days.

Through the Giurgiulesti International Free Port, 415 tons of gasoline and 1,192 tons of diesel fuel were imported.

At the Leușeni customs post, significantly higher volumes were recorded, with 1,219 tons of gasoline and 2,523 tons of diesel fuel entering the Republic of Moldova.

As of April 27, the price of a liter of diesel fuel is 29.44 lei, while gasoline is priced at 29.15 lei.
