National Anticorruption Center raids Moldelectrica
The National Anticorruption Center (CNA) conducted a raid on the State Enterprise (SE) "Moldelectrica" on the morning of Monday, April 27. The Prosecutor General's Office confirmed this information to Moldova 1.
Both officials from the General Prosecutor's Office and representatives of "Moldelectrica" refused to disclose the basis for the searches that were conducted or the identities of the individuals involved.
Representatives of the "Moldelectrica" enterprise confirmed that the searches took place and stated their willingness to cooperate with the relevant authorities, providing all necessary support for the investigation.
"In light of the information that has emerged in the public domain, the State Enterprise 'Moldelectrica' confirms that law enforcement agencies are conducting an operation. Our enterprise reaffirms its commitment to full transparency and cooperation with authorized institutions, offering all the necessary support for the proper conduct of the investigations. However, to avoid compromising the investigation and to prevent any distortion of the facts being examined, 'Moldelectrica' cannot, at this stage, provide additional details," reads the statement from Moldelectrica.
