TRM launches Vienna contest

Fans can win the chance to watch Vlad Sabajuc, known as Satoshi, perform live at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna. Teleradio-Moldova has launched a creative competition offering tickets to the semi-final and grand final.
Teleradio-Moldova a pus la dispoziție un număr de telefon - 0 681 28 458, iar participanții sunt îndemnați să trimită până joi-dimineață, 30 aprilie, prin WhatsApp, un mesaj video, o fotografie sau un alt material creativ, inclusiv desene, prin care să-și arate susținerea pentru Republica Moldova și pentru artistul care ne va reprezenta țara la Viena cu piesa „Viva, Moldova!”.
Toate materialele colectate vor fi evaluate joi, iar vineri, pe 1 mai, vor fi anunțați câștigătorii.
Premiul include strict biletele de intrare pentru semifinala și finala competiției. Cheltuielile aferente deplasării și cazării nu sunt acoperite de către organizatori, acestea revenind în sarcina câștigătorilor.
To enter, participants must send a video, photo, or drawing showing their support for Moldova and the song "Viva, Moldova!". Entries must be submitted via WhatsApp to 0681 28 458 by Thursday morning, April 30.
All creative submissions will be evaluated on Thursday. The official winners will be announced on Friday, May 1.
The prize covers event tickets only. Winners are entirely responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements in Austria.
Public voting process
Contest materials will be published on the Facebook page of Moldova 1's morning show, "Buna Dimineata". Public voting will commence immediately and remain open until noon on Friday, May 1.
The creator of the most-voted entry will win a ticket to the grand final in Vienna. The runner-up will receive access to the semi-final.
Satoshi prepares for Vienna
Speaking on "Buna Dimineata", Satoshi shared the latest updates regarding his Eurovision rehearsals. He noted that the team practices daily in a large-scale simulation to ensure the performance is flawless.
"We record and listen to ourselves to identify any moments that still need improvement," Satoshi explained.
The artist emphasized the importance of the visual presentation, confirming that the custom stage costumes are complete. He insisted on maintaining his personal style to preserve his authentic identity on the European stage.
A unifying national event
Satoshi admitted that the unique pressure of Eurovision occasionally causes sleepless nights. However, his previous tour experience has helped him manage the stress effectively.
He views the competition as a vital opportunity for collective support. "I want people to treat Eurovision as a unifying national event," he concluded.
Satoshi will represent Moldova with "Viva, Moldova!" after winning the national selection. He will open the first semi-final on May 12.
The second semi-final is scheduled for May 14, followed by the grand final on May 16. All shows will broadcast live on Moldova 1 starting at 22:00 local time.
