Satoshi highlights Moldova’s Eurovision presence in Vienna

Music has taken over the Austrian capital as the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest officially opened in Vienna with a spectacular ceremony. All eyes were on the turquoise carpet, where delegations from 40 countries paraded in a vibrant display of style and energy. Among the highlights of the evening was the performance by Satoshi, the representative of the Republic of Moldova, of the song "Viva Moldova" on behalf of our country.

Hundreds of fans eagerly awaited the parade of delegations, but the highlight for the local audience was the arrival of our representatives. In contrast to his usual urban and nonconformist style on stage, Satoshi made a striking appearance at the opening ceremony, dressed impeccably.

"Welcome to Vienna, Satoshi and the 'Viva Moldova' delegation!"

Satoshi discussed the scale of the show in Vienna and how, as an artist, he is fully embracing the moment.

“How are you feeling?” “Thank you for the hospitality. We feel wonderful, like we're in a movie, so thank you for making this a reality.” “Are you ready for Eurovision?”

A day earlier, during a concert in Chisinau dedicated to Europe Day, Moldovans expressed their support for Satoshi.

The performer will open the first semi-final of the international contest on May 12, competing for a spot in the grand final on May 16. The second semi-final is set for May 14, and the Grand Final of the 70th Eurovision will take place on May 16.
