Four cultural and historical heritage sites on both banks of the Nistru will be restored with EU support

Four cultural and historical heritage sites on both banks of the Nistru will be restored and enhanced with support from the European Union (EU). This initiative is funded by a project valued at 288,000 euros.
The project includes several important objectives. One of them is the restoration of the Țîpova Monastery.
Additionally, the former Banca de Economii building, which holds significant architectural and historical value, will also be restored.
The project encompasses the Great Synagogue of Rascov, recognized as one of the most important monuments of Jewish heritage in the region between the Nistru and the Prut rivers.
Restoration work will also be carried out on the Bell Tower in Vadul lui Rascov, located in the Soldanesti district.
“We invest in culture, history, and in what unites us,” stated the Ministry of Culture.
Financed by the European Union, the project aims to preserve cultural heritage, promote tourism, and strengthen cultural cooperation between communities on both sides of the Nistru.
