Heads of Austria’s parliamentary foreign policy committees visit Moldova May 25–27

A delegation of deputies from the foreign policy committees of the National Council and the Federal Council of the Parliament of the Republic of Austria is visiting the Republic of Moldova from May 25 to 27.
Austrian parliamentarians are set to meet with several key figures from the Republic of Moldova, including President Maia Sandu, Speaker of the Parliament Igor Grosu, and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mihai Popșoi.
During their visit to the Parliament, the delegation will meet with Doina Gherman, the Vice-President of the Parliament and Chair of the Foreign Policy Committee, and Marcel Spatari, the Chair of the European Integration Committee.
The primary focus of these discussions will be on strengthening bilateral relations, particularly the development of parliamentary cooperation and the various projects in Moldova supported by Austria, reads a press release from the Legislature.
Additionally, the Austrian parliamentarians will participate in the inauguration of a water treatment plant in the town of Gălești and will visit a water supply project in the village of Căpriana, alongside the "Assumption of the Virgin Mary" Monastery. These initiatives have been implemented with Austrian support in partnership with the European Union.
The agenda also includes a visit to the Center of Excellence in Artistic Education "Ștefan Neaga" and the Austrian School in Chișinău.
