Paris Saint-Germain secured their second consecutive UEFA Champions League title after defeating Arsenal in a dramatic penalty shootout at the Puskás Aréna in Budapest.

The match concluded 1-1 after extra time, with the Parisian side ultimately prevailing 4-3 in the penalty shootout to claim Europe's ultimate club prize.

Arsenal opened the scoring early when Kay Havertz found the net in the sixth minute. Paris Saint-Germain equalized in the 65th minute through an Ousmane Dembélé penalty, sending the game into a scoreless extra-time period before the decisive shootout.

This victory marks the fifth European trophy for Paris Saint-Germain. Their continental honors include the 1996 Cup Winners' Cup, the 2001 Intertoto Cup, and both the Champions League and UEFA Super Cup titles won in 2025.

The French champions will look to add further silverware on August 12, when they face Aston Villa in the UEFA Super Cup in Salzburg, Austria.
