Over 132 million lei invested in Chișinău–Hîncești road repair
The national road R3 between Chisinau and Hancesti will be repaired. The works are scheduled to begin in the second half of June 2026, with a four-month execution period.
To efficiently manage execution, the designated sector has been divided into four lots.
The National Road Administration has awarded four periodic maintenance contracts for the Chisinau-Hâncești-Cimișlia-Basarabeasca sections.
The total value of these contracts exceeds 132 million lei.
The work involved covers approximately 22 kilometers of the R3 national road and includes the restoration of over 321,577 square meters of road surface.
All contracts also encompass road safety improvements, such as the restoration of longitudinal and transverse markings using reflective paint.
This segment of the R3 national road passes through several significant localities, including Hâncești, Fundul Galbenei, Bardar, Pojăreni, Sociteni, and Ialoveni.
The National Road Administration has highlighted that these projects will enhance traffic conditions, increase road safety, and improve connectivity between communities.
