Driving exams available on two Saturdays in June
The Public Services Agency (ASP) announces additional car examination sessions in Chisinau to address the high volume of requests and reduce waiting times.
The driving examination centers located at Calea Ieșilor Str, 14, and Academician Sergiu Rădăuțanu Str, 1, will be open on Saturdays, specifically on June 13 and 27, starting at 08:00.
According to the ASP (Autoritatea Sf. Politica), examiners will conduct additional practical tests for category B on these days. This initiative aims to create more opportunities for candidates taking the driving exam by streamlining the process and reducing wait times, enabling more individuals to obtain their driving licenses.
Recently, authorities introduced a pilot project that significantly changes how the practical test for the category B driving exam is conducted. At the candidate's request, their driving instructor from the school they attended may be present during the practical exam. The instructor will sit in the front seat next to the candidate, while the examiner will observe and evaluate from the back seat.
The instructor’s participation is optional and solely at the candidate's discretion. While the instructor is not allowed to give instructions, they may intervene if the situation poses a risk to road safety.
This pilot project will run until September 1, 2026.
