Emergency services rescue man at Stefan Voda Hospital

Moldovan emergency services rescued a 63-year-old man on June 10 after he became trapped on the exterior of a medical facility. The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU) deployed teams to the scene immediately.

The patient, who had been recently admitted to the Ștefan Vodă Regional Hospital, climbed out of a balcony. He was found clinging to an external cable between the third and fourth floors of the building.

First responders from the local Ștefan Vodă rescue unit successfully brought the man down without injuries. Over the last 24 hours, Moldovan emergency teams responded to 44 high-risk incidents nationwide.
