Chisinau: Albișoara Str. closed temporarily for Duathlon competition
Road traffic will be halted on Saturday, June 13, on Albișoara Str. in Chișinău. According to the Chișinău City Hall, these traffic restrictions have been put in place due to the sports event "Duathlon," organized by the relevant sports federations in the Republic of Moldova.
Between 05:00 and 17:00, road traffic will be suspended on Albișoara Str, specifically on the section between Mihai Viteazul Str. (from the bridge) and Petru Rareș Str.
During this event, public transport passing through the area will be redirected to nearby streets.
Trolleybuses on route no. 38 will operate as follows: they will travel from Mihai Viteazul Str. to Petricani Str, then to Calea Orheiului, bd. Renașterii Naționale, and finally back to Albișoara Str. In the opposite direction, they will follow their usual route. Additionally, the minibus route no. 174 will be diverted through Ion Creangă Str, Mitropolit Dosoftei str., S. Lazo str., and Columna str., before returning to its regular route.
The municipal authorities urge drivers to comply with traffic officers' requests, exercise patience and discipline while driving, and adhere to the Road Traffic Regulations.
